Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, Generix Group, and one of France's biggest telematics companies, DDS, have joined forces to create a major global player in supply chain digitalisation. Covering the entire spectrum of goods and data, from procurement to invoicing and payment, the collaboration aims to provide an unparalleled 360° view of the supply chain.

The merger creates a combination of solutions and expertise in transport flow management and total supply chain governance. With an expanded functional coverage that includes multimodal, inland and overseas operations, the value proposition is primarily targeted at shippers and service providers.

Customers of both companies will have access to a 360°, omnichannel and collaborative offering that enables them to manage their entire supply chain, from freight to final destination. This includes various trade flows between stakeholders (TMS, WMS, OMS, VMI, Sourcing) as well as information and financial data flows (EDI, e-Invoicing, e-Reporting, P2P and O2C and Incoterms management).

The '360′ offering leverages massive data management, including machine learning, artificial intelligence and blockchain, in addition to applied technology research, Generix states in its press release about the acquisition.

With nearly 2,000 equipped warehouses handling 600 million pallets annually, Generix Group and DDS manage 1 million transport operations, 2 billion EDI messages and half a billion electronic invoices each year.

For the Generix Group, this merger is a key milestone in the acceleration of the Boost Together 2028 strategic plan, facilitating the exploration of new markets and the expansion of its presence in Europe, the Americas and parts of Asia.

As for DDS, this collaboration represents an opportunity to benefit from the support of an international group, particularly as it expands into countries such as Spain and the Benelux region.

Aïda Collette-Sène, President and CEO of the Generix Group, underlines the importance of this merger:  “Together, we will become an international leader in all segments of the supply chain, linking them together to create maximum value for our customers”. She highlights the continuous technological advances and customer-focused research that ensure optimal efficiency and perfect use of solutions.

Jérôme Bour, Chairman and CEO of DDS, echoes this sentiment, describing the combined expertise of Generix and DDS as creating a unique supply chain execution offering capable of addressing customers’ challenges in terms of efficiency, resilience and sustainability. For DDS, this collaboration is not only a recognition of its leadership position in the Transportation Management Systems market but also a tremendous opportunity for accelerated growth.
